Newly released findings from the Washington Health Alliance show that for the third time in a row, patients have an overwhelmingly positive experience when visiting Bastyr Center for Natural Health, the Seattle teaching clinic of Bastyr University.
Bastyr Center ranked in the top 10 in three of the survey’s main categories, scoring at or above the state’s 90th percentile:
The Washington Health Alliance survey “Your Voice Matters: Patient Experience with Primary Care Providers in Washington State” is the only report of its kind and comes out every other year. In 2012 and 2014, when the survey focused on just the Puget Sound region, Bastyr Center ranked in the top five both years. This year, the survey was sent to 181,000 adults in 14 counties in Washington State, covering 266 clinics. Once again, Bastyr Center ranked among the top-tier medical facilities (16th overall, out of 266.)
“To be recognized for this level of sustained excellence for the third-straight report is extremely satisfying,” said Bastyr Center Chief Medical Officer Jamey Wallace, ND. “It is especially gratifying to see that even though the survey has expanded to include medical centers statewide, Bastyr Center remains near the top.”
