Stress is something we all deal with in our daily lives, but that doesn’t mean we have to let it rule our lives. Left untreated, stress can exacerbate and even cause chronic ailments, and can lead to anxiety and other emotional issues.
One way to start tackling your stress level is through mindfulness, says Brad Lichtenstein, ND, BCB, who supervises mind-body medicine appointments at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. He will offer tips to help you take that first step at the free talk “Mindfulness for Stress Reduction” from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12.
