Dr. Reese Pellegrini earned their doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2010. Following graduation, they completed three years of residency at Bastyr's teaching clinic, Bastyr Center for Natural Health (BCNH), including serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Pellegrini currently serves as an Associate Professor at Bastyr University and Director of the Diabetes and Cardiovascular Wellness Clinic. They work as a clinical supervisor training medical students to be primary care physicians as well as a didactic instructor for endocrinology and several electives on diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Pellegrini is passionate about their work as a primary care physican integrating conventional and naturopathic medicine to treat a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions with a special interest in diabetes and cardiovascular disease.  

Clinical Interests:

Dr. Pellegrini's clinical interests include diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Drawing from their past experience as a researcher, Dr. Pellegrini’s integrative approach utilizes the best of conventional and natural medicine.  Dr Pellegrini and their team support patients’ health with herbal medicine, hydrotherapy, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes and counseling.

Dr. Pellegrini’s work as a teacher enables them to educate and empower their patients to make their own informed decisions. Dr Pellegrini enjoys integrative healthcare because it allows them to coordinate the best of conventional and alternative medicine to provide the highest-quality care to patients.

Education & Affiliations:

Dr. Pellegrini earned their ND from Bastyr University, emergency medical technician (EMT) certification from North Seattle Community College, wilderness first responder certification from the American Alpine Institute, and a BS in psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Pellegrini is currently an assistant professor at Bastyr University for the school of Naturopathic Medicine.
